Rockettes Pro-Dance Team

The Scottish Rockettes are the UK's top Pro-Sports Dance Team and support Scotland's only Pro-Basketball team the Glasgow Rocks. The dance team appear at the Glasgow Rocks' 20+ home games at the Emirates Arena where they play a major role in the sporting extravaganza.
In addition the Rockettes are also the Official Dance Squad of the Scottish National Football Team. The dance team entertain supporters of the National Squad at International matches and World Cup Qualifiers at Hampden Park, the home of Scottish Football!
The Rockettes also provide high-energy sports entertainment for all types of professional sporting events around the world. Our reputation within this industry is un-matched and this is evidenced by our appearances at many prestigious events including UEFA Champions League football games, The Davis Cup, Scottish Grand National and motor shows. We take great pride in the fact that we have regularly performed alongside American basketball legends 'The Harlem Globetrotters' on their World Tours and have been selected as the official dance team of the Masters Football Tournament and Glasgow Warriors pro-rugby team.
The dance team also add that extra star-power to a wide variety of promotional events: from business meetings, product launches and more – we provide a unique experience that your attendees won't soon forget!
The Scottish Rockettes also attract a considerable amount of media attention including regular national newspaper features, radio interviews and TV appearances.
As well as entertaining, the Rockettes Pro-Dance Team also provide coaching in schools, community clubs and at educational events to encourage children's physical activity, motivation and interpersonal skills.
The Rockettes are proud to say that they are involved with a number of charitable organisations including Cancer Research UK, Cash for Kids, The Anthony Nolan Trust, Marie Curie Cancer Care and Ronald McDonald House to name just a few. And to provide further support for these worthwhile causes the dance team utilise their modelling skills to produce an annual swimwear calendar with all proceeds donated to sick children's charities.
The dance team is made up of twenty-two very talented women who are all over 18 years of age from backgrounds as diverse as IT, nursing, finance, dance and sales. But they all have one thing in common – a passion for performing and dance. Each dancer has an extensive CV complete with choreography, performance and dance training.
Actually the majority of what the team do, like most performers, is what people don't see. Each year the Dance team train in the USA alongside the NBA and NFL dancers, learning material from the world's best choreographers to ensure they remain the UK's hottest dance team and bring our spectators the best entertainment possible. The Rockettes must have a passion for entertaining, as the rehearsal schedule is extremely demanding. The dancers always give 110%, while maintaining positive attitudes and a genuine enthusiasm. The Rockettes have a great team dynamic and an unbelievable chemistry – that's what makes us so successful!
