The Rockettes are delighted to be considered the supporting dance team for the British Basketball League. The Dance Team have performed for the UK's most passionate basketball fans at the Birmingham National Indoor Arena since January 2005 and have a fantastic relationship with the organisation.
These events are packed full of adrenalin-pumping entertainment both on and off the court which leaves spectators on the edge of their seats. And the Rockettes always play a major role in this sporting extravaganza!
The Basketball Playoff Finals Weekend is the culmination of the UK basketball season involving professional mens and womens teams from the top leagues in the UK.
The atmosphere at these events is out of this world and the Rockettes absolutely love entertaining the energized crowds of fans.
"The dancers always receive a fantastic welcome as they take the court, which to be honest they find overwhelming – personally I just think it gives them that additional boost to make their performance that extra bit special" Carole Anne, Dance Team Manager.
The Rockettes always remain impartial throughout these matches and ensure that both teams receive the support they deserve! The noise level in the Arena is unbelievable with each set of fans cheering-on their team. With all the players on the court giving it 110% it continually proves to be a fantastic show!
