Yes, the people of Scotland were over the moon to hear that Basketball Legends, the Harlem Globetrotters were coming back!
Once again the Rockettes were proud to announce they had been invited along to join the players in entertaining the audience in the Scottish leg of their 2006 European Tour at Braehead Arena.
The guys enthralled the girls and the audience at Braehead Arena with their talent and tricks. The crowds were amazed by the skill on show… and no one could stop themselves having a huge smile on their face as the guys added their unique brand of first-class humour throughout the evening.
And it was wonderful to see ex-Scottish Rocks star Donald Cole in the Globetrotters team. He was fantastic and the Rockettes wish him the best of luck with his new career.
The girls would like to say a big thank you to the Globetrotters for a wonderful evening, we had a fantastic time and it was great to work with you all – hope to see you all again soon.
"WOW! What a fantastic show… they certainly lived up to their reputation eh? Goodness… I remember seeing the cartoons as a kid – it was brilliant to see them in action live! They were absolutely superb!" said rookie Hazel.
"Thanks to the Rockettes for the contribution to the Harlem Globetrotters show at Braehead Arena – a full house and a great show once again, and the Rockettes certainly played their part in achieving that!" said Peter, Show Promoter.
