Anthony Nolan Trust Scottish Daisy Ball
Once again the Scottish Daisy Ball was an outstanding success. As one of the most entertaining and popular events of its kind in Glasgow, the Daisy Ball is now firmly placed on the annual events calendar.

Raising almost £60,000 on the night meant that not only did everyone have a wonderful time, but they were also saving lives. All of the money raised on the night will go towards recruiting potential bone-marrow donors to the Anthony Nolan Trust's Register, giving life and hope to leukaemia sufferers everywhere.

From the champagne reception at 6pm until the evening came to a close at 2am, it was non-stop entertainment, including magicians, Highland Dancers, the Strathclyde Police Pipe Band, Big Vern and the Shootahs, and of course the stunning Scottish Rockettes.

Organiser Lindsay MacCallum said: "The Scottish Rockettes are now so much a part of the Scottish Daisy Ball that it simply would not be the same without them. They provide fantastic entertainment with their amazing dance routines – we are often met with 'will the Rockettes be there again this year?' – and in addition are an invaluable help in collecting money, assisting with the auction and pretty much anything else we ask them to do.

"As a charity, they support Anthony Nolan throughout the year and I can't say how much we appreciate that. I wish them all the very best and very much look forward to working with all the Rockettes in 2007."

Next year's Scottish Daisy Ball will be held on Saturday 17th November and of course the Rockettes will be there to show their support. For further information on this event and to lend your support to this hugely important charity please visit www.anthonynolan.org.uk
